Bioinformatics Developer - #10522766

In order to strengthen its Bioinformatics department, the IPG is inviting applications for a Bioinformatics Developer.

Your main activities :

• Development and management of high-throughput sequencing (NGS) data analysis pipelines
• Development and management of graphical user interfaces
• Support and maintenance of existing systems
• Management of relational databases
• Production of technical documentation
• Computer systems validation according to the quality standard

Your profile :

Essential skills

• Master's degree in bioinformatics or equivalent through experience
• At least 1 year's experience as a developer, ideally in bioinformatics
• Mastery of at least one high-level programming language (ideally R and R/Shiny, Python)
• Relational database management and SQL
• Working knowledge of Linux administration
• Experience of versioning and project management tools (git)

Desirable skills

• Working knowledge of French
• Workflow management systems, ideally Nextflow
• Containerization (Docker)
• Distributed HPC architecture
• Software testing methodologies
• Gitlab
